The fabulous bank holiday weather brought the crowds to Bekonscot this Easter. More than 5000 visitors joined us over the four days; but luckily we had stocked up on ice cream and cold drinks so everyone went away happy.
The Village looked stunning in the glorious sunshine with the blossom and spring flowers providing a welcome splash of colour. Professor Crump entertained visitors with his oversized bicycle (and feet!) and face painter Lapis lizard was kept busy creating endless butterflies and tigers.
Craft activities throughout the school holidays saw children create pop-up cards and Easter baskets as well as the opportunity to learn the traditional crafts of rag rugging and French knitting.
Keep an eye on our website for upcoming activities for children and families at weekends and during the school holidays.
