The school holidays are in sight and Bekonscot has an exciting programme of summer events planned.

We start the summer holidays with a visit from children’s author and railway enthusiast Christopher Vine. Chris will be running a total of four interactive, story telling workshops based on his best selling series of Peter’s Railway books. Tickets are limited and must be booked in advance here.
28 July – 2 Sept every Wednesday and Thursday
Bekonscot’s favourite magician, Greg Chapman, will be back with us every Wednesday and Thursday throughout the summer break. Enjoy his unique blend of close up magic, juggling and story telling.
7-8 August 20th Anniversary of Bekonscot Light Railway
Our ride on miniature railway celebrates it’s 20th birthday this summer. Join us for a weekend of fun, railway themed activities.
28 – 30 August
Over the Bank Holiday weekend we welcome back children’s entertainer Professor Crump. Standing over 8 feet tall in his stilts, the professor is a master at engaging and entertaining children.
