New interweb netsite launched

How exciting! The boys in the technical workshops have cobbled together this new website from bits of string and leftovers from the Light Railway extension. The old website kept on falling over and damaging things, so we hope you enjoy this one. Do tell your friends – perhaps you’d like to send them an online postcard?

More than 1500 people visit this site every day (and you’re one of them) - we do like hearing from you. If you see anything that’s not working, or there’s something else you’d like to see, get in touch!

I think your website is absolutely spiffing and quite funny too. I would have Tim do a site for my Estate Agent offices in the village as well, but I don't think computers were about in 1929 (even in Bletchley Park). So. if any visitor to our lovely Bekonscot wants to buy a cottage or rent a shop (but no Starbucks please) you'll just have to do what people have always done - drop a note through my letterbox, but it better be a small one! Happy 80th Birthday Bekonscot.

The old website used to have links to other local attractions which was useful, regards

Hi Joanna — we kept these for the new website too, but they were moved to a new location under "Behind The Scenes". Perhaps not the most logical place, so I'll think about where these would be better placed. In the meantime:

It's a beautiful site and has kept me here reminiscing for an hour. I visited Bekonscot in the mid 60s as a kid and the memory has stuck with me all my life. Absolutely delightful and a treasure! Jane - South Australia
